Front Mission Evolved – spring 2010

Front Mission Evolved developed by Double Helix Games, is the first of its kind - a twist on the Third-Person Shooter. Wanzer --- a fully customizable war machine --- is a method of mayhem and destruction.
"We're pleased to be releasing the next chapter in this classic franchise and invite existing fans and gamers new to the series to enjoy all the action that FRONT MISSION EVOLVED has to offer." – Larry Sparks (VP Brands PAL Region of Square Enix LTD.)

The basic story of Front Mission Evolved is not a new one. Technology is advanced; countries are more of a geopolitical block, yet the warmongering people lust for blood. You (Dylan Ramsey) find yourself caught up in the aftermath of a terrorist attack. Military mobilized and you are quickly thrown into conspiracies and alliances that teeter on annihilation throughout the game. Even though the storyline familiar, we will find ourselves completely immersed in the beauty and depth of the game.

With a release date in the spring of this year, Front Mission Evolved is gaining in popularity. Artistically it feels like a cross between Gundam and Evangelion with just a dash of Mechwarrior. However, the graphics are full length, feature film production quality. The amount of detail put into Front Mission Evolved makes for a brilliant gaming experience.

As with most Third-Person Shooter games, Front Mission Evolved is fast-paced. You navigate through concrete mazes, frozen wastelands and a number of locations to find and destroy that ever elusive terrorist. Your Wanzer is fully customizable with weapons and attachments that will make game play exciting for any style of player. Of course Front Mission Evolved is open for online & multiplayer options. Though I suggest playing the storyline completely through before advancing into the realm of MMO.
